Maggie Many Cats and the Cat that Flew in the Window

A FUNNY CAT STORY FROM BALLYYAHOO

Maggie-many-cats loves her cats. loves her chocolate, and especially loves to settle down in front of her glowing fire piled up with turf from the Ballyyahoo bog.

Her cats love it too. Like most cats, Maggie’s cats love a bit of heat and are usually found close to the fire and even closer to Maggie.

MAGGIE AND THE WITCH OF BALLYYAHOO

Maggie is a peaceful woman but she does still enjoy the odd feud, especially with Biddy, her neighbour, who Maggie suspects just might be the witch of Ballyyahoo.

cartoon cat licking from a bowl illustrating a page about a cat story called Maggie Many Cats and the Cat that flew in the Window by Grace JolliffeRumour has it that the two women fell out over an eejity young fella, many moons ago, but they have both categorically denied this rumour which was apparently started by a certain Mister Paddy Plant. Paddy, like most Ballyyahooians, never lets the truth stand in the way of a bit of juicy gossip.

One day, Maggie finds a strange and lovely black cat in her garden. What’s strange is the fact that it has a gold stripe on its forehead and what’s lovely is its beautiful sleek black coat and graceful body.

LOST CAT MAGNET

Maggie thinks it’s just another lost cat because her house is like a lost cat magnet but this cat is far from lost. This cat is a very special cat because this cat can fly.

In fact, this cat can do a whole lot more than fly and when Maggie learns what else the cat can do she thinks she’s going stark, staring, raving, mad!

Poor Maggie is worried sick. She doesn’t want to be put in any old folks home – who would look after her cats?

THE SECRET OF BALLYYAHOO

Maggie sets out to discover the truth about the extraordinary cat of Ballyyahoo and uncovers the secret of the witch of Ballyyahoo.
